Air Traffic Control at Ronaldsway needs to expand its operation if it's to maintain its service level, according to one worker.
A global shortage of ATCs in the industry is affecting airports worldwide, with reports of officers being brought of out retirement to assist with training.
The Department of Infrastructure is currently recruiting for two new members to join its team based at the control tower.
Ben Helliwell, who has been an officer for five years at Ronaldsway, says it has traditionally been a male-dominated industry:
