Pilling replaced Barbara Brereton in May
The chairman of Malew Parish Commissioners has stepped down from the role.
Bob Pilling was only elected as local authority chair at the beginning of this municipal year in May, replacing Barbara Brereton who had been in the post for seven years previous.
Margaret Mansfield, who was elected vice-chair this year, will assume the top position.
It's believed Mr Pilling's decision was made for personal reasons.
