Letter sent to owner of the Golf Links area following failed planning application
Malew Commissioners has confirmed it will be seeking legal advice over the Castletown Golf Links Hotel site.
It says it wants their advocates to prepare information about how to carry out the provisions contained within the Building Control Act 1991.
It’s in relation to ruinous buildings and includes serving an order for demolition and any subsequent consequences.
The move follows a failed appeal, by developers Dandara, to get permission to build apartments and a hotel on the site - you can find out what the company plans to do next HERE.
In a letter to the Castletown Golf Links owner the commissioners say they will then decide on an appropriate course of action.
