Loic Joseph Bourdiec appeared at Douglas courthouse
A court’s heard a man threw a drink over a pub worker and punched another.
Thirty-nine-year-old Loic Joseph Bourdiec of Bay View Road in Port St Mary appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm but admitted possessing cannabis.
Prosecution advocate James Robinson said Bourdiec had been caught with cannabis bush worth £18 in Clagh Vane in Ballasalla on 10 April.
The hearing was told Bourdiec had gone into the Haven pub in Port Erin at around 1:15am on 21 July despite being barred.
Mr Robinson said staff asked him to leave and he turned violent outside after grabbing a bottle from the bar area.
He’s alleged to have thrown the drink over a female member of staff and punched a barman, splitting his lip.
Mrs Hughes bailed Mr Bourdiec to appear at a pre-trial review on 1 September.
