Warrant issued to bring 58-year-old back to Island
A warrant has been issued in an attempt to bring a former Island resident back to the Isle of Man to face court proceedings.
David Neil Savage, now of Regent Street in Long Eaton, is accused of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
The 58-year-old failed to appear at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday (30 May).
He’s accused of leaving his dog ‘Murphy’ home alone whilst he travelled off Island without making any arrangements for its care; the court was told the dog had to be put to sleep.
If the warrant is successfully executed it’s expected that he’ll appear in court on 4 July.
