Aaron Joseph Deane Roberts appeared at Douglas Courthouse
A man alleged to have misled police about a driver's name has appeared in court.
Forty-one-year-old Aaron Joseph Deane Roberts, whose address was given as the Isle of Man Prison appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court the charges arose after a car crash in February.
Telling magistrates it was too serious to be heard in summary courts, he asked to withdraw a further charge of failing to give police information about a driver.
Mr Roberts was remanded in custody and will next appear through the live link procedure on 19 September.
