23-year-old didn't enter pleas
A man accused of three assaults – two of them on police officers – has appeared before magistrates.
23-year-old Liam Luke Kaighin appeared at Douglas Courthouse, but didn't enter pleas to four allegations he's facing.
It's alleged he carried out one common assault, two assaults on police, and possessed drugs on 23 July.
Defence advocate Ian Kermode told the hearing he hadn't yet received CCTV of the incident, and asked for the case to be adjourned while he obtained the footage from the prosecution.
There was no bail application and Mr Kaighin was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday (8 August).
