Child photos collected over eight years
A Port Erin man has admitted making and possessing nearly three and a half thousand (3,500) indecent photographs of children.
Ian McLoughlin, of Droghadfayle Road, who is 56, entered guilty pleas to all 10 counts against him when he appeared at a court of general gaol in Douglas on Friday (15 April).
The images were made between October 2007 and November last year.
McLoughlin has been bailed and the case adjourned for a social inquiry report.
He will be sentenced on June 13.
Deemster Montgomerie told the defendant he should not take the granting of bail as an indication of his eventual sentence.
