Coastguard rescue this morning
A man and his dog had to be rescued after getting stuck on a cliff face earlier.
Douglas Coastguards were called to the scene at Little Ness Marine Drive at around 10am this morning.
The situation arose when the man had initially climbed down the cliff face to rescue his dog but couldn't get back up.
A cliff technician was deployed and they were able to get the duo back to safety.
There's a reminder from the coastguard to call 999 in the event of a pet becoming endangered.
