Taken to Nobles for treatment to injuries
Police have arrested a man following a traffic accident in Douglas last night (Mon 14th)
The incident happened around 9.45pm when a silver Peugeot crashed at on Westmoreland Road, near to the junction with Princess Street.
The driver was placed under arrest and is still receiving treatment at Nobles hospital for his injuries, but two others in the car, dressed in dark clothing, fled the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have information on it, is asked to contact police headquarters on 631 212.
