Witnesses asked to come forward
Police say a man was attacked in his own home in Victoria Road in Douglas on Sunday teatime.
He managed to leave the house and was pursued by his attackers who continued to assault him outside.
It happened at around 5.30pm.
Several vehicles passed the area at the time and witnesses are asked to come forward as a matter of urgency.
The man needed hospital treatment.
