Crellin deleted 188 files including messenger and internet history
A Douglas man convicted of offences relating to indecent images of children has pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
Andrew Peter Crellin, whose address was given as Tromode House, admitted breaching the order within the first month of it being in force.
The court heard Crellin was given the order as part of a sentence for 12 offences relating to indecent images of children in March this year.
In April, his probation officer contacted the police to advise the order had been breached, with the 46-year-old having deleted internet and messaging history.
After his devices were seized by police, officers found he had deleted 188 files contrary to the prevention order.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood said the matter would need to be dealt with in the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Crellin remains on bail until his next court appearance on 13 June.
