Suspect due in court tomorrow
A man's been charged in connection with several thefts in the capital this week.
Police say the 31 year old suspect was arrested following a burglary at the 'Top Shop' convenience store in Pulrose, and the linked theft of two vehicles.
He's also been charged with several motoring offences, and will appear in court tomorrow morning.
Detective Sergeant Bobby Syme says the thefts were all 'preventable', and is urging residents to remain considerate of basic security measures.
There's also been a renewed appeal for information concerning the burglary, which took place around 7am on Thursday morning, and is thought to have involved a black Mitsibishi Shogun 4x4 vehicle.
