30-year-old will be sentenced in May
A Douglas man will be sentenced next month after claiming more than £14,000 in benefits he wasn’t entitled to.
Timothy Michael Clawson, of Anagh Coar Close, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he pleaded guilty to three offences of benefit fraud.
Between April 2021 and January 2023 the 30-year-old was claiming Income Support but had failed to tell Treasury he was working.
A social enquiry report has been requested before Clawson is sentenced on 28 May; he’s been bailed until that date.
