29-year-old bailed
A Peel man accused of importing drugs worth more than £12,000 has been bailed awaiting trial.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jamie Roy Griffin of Derby Road appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse through a live video link with the Isle of Man Prison.
He’s admitted being concerned in supplying cannabis, but denies producing cannabis and ketamine to the Isle of Man through the post from the UK.
Griffin’s advocate, David Reynolds, told magistrates it was likely the trial wouldn't be heard until May or June next year.
Griffin was bailed in the sum of £500 to live at his girlfriend’s address in Kerroo Coar in Peel, and he'll appear in court again on 7 May.
