Retired salesman broke neck
A court’s heard a 72 year old man died in hospital just days after falling down the stairs at home.
Thomas David Crosdale Gibson of Quarterbridge Road in Douglas died on January 23 in the intensive care unit of Noble’s hospital in Braddan.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham heard the retired car salesman had been treated after a fall which broke his spine – but he developed pneumonia and never recovered.
Mr Needham released the body for burial and adjourned the case to a date to be fixed.
