28-year-old pleads guilty to charges
A Douglas man caught in possession of cannabis twice in two weeks has been fined £1,200.
Twenty-eight-year-old Shaun Michael Woods of Saddle Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He pleaded guilty to possessing ecstasy and cannabis on 15 April, and two counts of possessing cannabis on 26 April.
Prosecution advocate Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing police officers found more than £250 worth of drugs at his home – and discovered he was carrying cannabis bush and resin just 11 days later.
Mrs Hughes fined him a total of £1,200 and ordered him to pay £100 towards prosecution costs.
