Stopped for doing 44mph on Quarterbridge Rd
A court’s heard a driver make bizarre allegations against police dog handlers as he was fined for speeding.
Kevin Joseph Kinrade, of Close Moore in Douglas, pleaded guilty to the offence through the coroner at Douglas courthouse before magistrates.
Police stopped him on 19 May after seeing him reach 44mph on Quarterbridge Road in Douglas.
In mitigation, the 33-year-old told the court police dog handlers were having sex at the Sea Terminal and the Constabulary should be catching drug dealers instead of speeding motorists.
He was fined £140 and ordered to pay £50 costs by magistrates, who also imposed three penalty points on his licence.
