Eye-witness says it was a matter of life and death
A local man has been to the rescue of two people caught in the rough seas of Douglas bay.
The eye-witness saw two men struggling in the high tide, as waves lapped over Douglas promenade yesterday lunchtime.
He was able, with others, to cast out life rings and draw the men to shore.
He told Manx Radio it became clear the situation was a matter of life and death:
