A man from the north of the Island will appear in court this morning charged with attacking a barman.
The 33 year old was arrested on Monday following the incident at the Mines Tavern in Laxey at the weekend.
The member of staff needed hospital treatment after the attack in the pub's beer garden on Saturday evening.
Police say a number of people were there have already given statements, but anyone who saw what happened is asked get in touch.
