33-year-old refused bail
A Pulrose man alleged to have struggled with police when they arrested him at his mother's house has been remanded in custody.
Thirty-three Dean Anthony Whitehead of Heather Crescent appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse via a live link from the Isle of Man Prison.
He has yet to enter pleas to one count each of assaulting a police officer and resisting police on 30 May.
Magistrates refused to grant bail, and Mr Whitehead was remanded in custody to appear in court again on 9 June.
