Police appeal for witnesses
Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault which left a man lying unconscious in the road.
It happened between 2.30am and 3am yesterday (Saturday, 25 March) on Victoria Street in Douglas.
The victim is currently receiving treatment in hospital for his injuries.
The road was closed yesterday while investigations were carried out.
Anyone who saw what happened, or the events leading up to it, is asked to contact Police Headquarters or Crimestoppers.
