Grievous bodily harm with intent charge
A man’s been remanded in custody after a stabbing in Douglas.
Thomas McBurnie of Cronk-y-Berry didn’t enter a plea to a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, when he appeared before magistrates.
The hearing at Douglas courthouse was told the incident took place on 19 June, near Bucks Road in Douglas.
Mr McBurnie’s advocate didn’t apply for bail and magistrates remanded the 21-year-old in custody.
He’s due to appear in court again via live link from the Isle of Man Prison on 27 June.
