Pre-trial review set for late June
A man accused of burgling a boxing club in Douglas has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-one-year-old Carl Shewring appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
Mr Shewring, whose address was given as the Isle of Man Prison in Jurby, has pleaded not guilty to burglary and using provoking behaviour.
He’s alleged to have burgled the Manx Amateur Boxing Club on Palace Road in Douglas in March, along with another man.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody and he’s next due to appear in court for a pre-trial review on 23 June.
