Jim Reid aims to raise £2000 for mindfulness project
A local man is running the distance of the Penine Way on the Isle of Man's hills, roads and trails this month.
Jim Reid first did the iconic walk 35 years ago as a teenager, sparking a life-long love of the outdoors.
The challenge is to support a project called Mindfulness in Wild Places, set up last year to help people see the benefits of being out in nature.
It's a joint venture run by mindfulness practitioner Mike Kewley and Adam Denard from the Manx Wildlife Trust.
Initial funding is running out, so Jim is aiming to raise £2000 (two thousand pounds) to help keep it going:
