A man is searching to confirm his identity
A man is searching to find his national identity, after spending his whole life without a birth certificate or proof of identity.
64-year-old Jamie Morgan-Kane was born in Douglas, but moved to the United States because of difficult family circumstances.
There he spent 34 years in a US prison for a crime he says he didn't commit - he has written a book about the experience.
He's currently working with the chief registrar to help find proof of birth and more about his family history.
Mr Morgan-Kane is appealing for anyone with knowledge to come forward:
