Needed money to repay drug dealers
A man who's accused of breaking into his parents' home and stealing to fund his drug habit has appeared in court.
Twenty-two-year-old Kyle Stanley Andrew Collins, of no fixed abode, appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
Barry Swain, prosecuting, said Mr Collins broke into the house in Reart ny Sheear after being told he couldn't go in when his family wasn't there.
Mr Collins didn't enter a plea to a charge of burglary, which is alleged to have happened on Tuesday, 26 March.
Mr Swain said Mr Collins was addicted to drugs and needed money to repay drug dealers.
There was no application for bail and Mr Collins was remanded in custody.
He'll appear again on 4 April.
