Thirty-two-year-old admitted five counts of criminal damage
A man who drunkenly kicked wing mirrors off a series of parked cars will be sentenced later this month.
Thirty-two-year-old David William Atkinson of no fixed abode appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
At a previous hearing, he pleaded guilty to five counts of criminal damage, one of stealing clothes from Sports Direct in Douglas and one of threatening to commit criminal damage.
Atkinson’s crime spree took place on 28 December when he shoplifted £650 worth of goods from the store before later damaging the cars and threatening to damage a police vehicle.
He was remanded in custody at the Isle of Man Prison and will next appear in court on 30 January.
