Tom MacPherson-Pope and partner make 150 protective masks for NHS
Homegrown makers are joining the fight against coronavirus by 3D printing protective equipment.
Tom MacPherson-Pope, whose family lives in the Isle of Man, and his girlfriend Melody Larkin, are making face masks for the NHS in Manchester.
The two got involved after seeing Prusa Research 3D printers' design on a European makers Whatsapp group, posted by makers in Italy who are helping make masks for their communities.
Prusa has started a campaign to create and donate as many protective face shields as possible and have open-sourced the design for others to get involved.
