Health Minister defends negative press on mental health facility
A mental health facility on the Island has been defended by the health minister, following recent negative press.
David Ashford says a number of complaints reported at Manannan Court in Douglas, have now been proven to be unfounded.
It's after the department undertook an internal review.
The full report of the Department of Health and Social Care's findings has now been published on the government's website.
An external review is due to take place in April.
Mr Ashford says a number of claims have no foundation:
