Passengers thanked for 'patience and understanding'
The Manannan was delayed by around an hour getting into Douglas this afternoon (13 August) after experiencing 'a technical issue'.
The Steam Packet Company has confirmed its engineering team 'identified and were able to quickly rectify' it during today's 11:15am crossing from Liverpool.
The vessel was spotted circling Douglas Head before coming into dock in rough weather earlier.
A spokesperson says the issue has now been resolved and sailings have resumed as usual.
In a statement they told Manx Radio: "The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’s engineering team identified and were able to quickly rectify a technical issue during today's 11:15am Manannan crossing to Douglas.
"The issue has now been resolved and sailings have resumed as usual.
"We'd like to thank our engineering team for their hard work, and passengers for their patience and understanding."
