The Manannan has left Manx waters for Liverpool to undergo maintenance work.
The fastcraft has been in Douglas harbour since the end of the summer season, available for use as back-up if necessary.
Some work has been carried out in-house but she has now departed for Merseyside for general annual maintenance in dry dock.
She is due to return to service in March.
