Fastcraft departs for Liverpool hours behind schedule
The Manannan has been repaired after sustaining 'minor damage' on its voyage from Belfast to Douglas earlier today.
The Steam Packet says the damage was sustained during poor weather in the Irish Sea.
The vessel has now departed for Liverpool, after being delayed for almost three hours.
It will return later this evening around two hours later than originally scheduled, with passengers asked to check in no later than 8:30pm.
Steam Packet Managing Director Brian Thomson says 'The Steam Packet Company prioritises passenger safety.'
'We apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers. Repairs have been made and we’re doing all we can to minimise disruptions.'
