Fares 'more contained', says Harmer
The Isle of Man Steam Packet's fast craft, Manannan, will resume daily sailings to Liverpool this week.
That route will be reinstated from Friday (29), with the first sailing scheduled for three o'clock, followed by a return leg at 19:15.
Manannan will also take trips to Ireland, including Belfast from Sunday 7 April and Dublin from Thursday 18 April.
Speaking on Manx Radio's Perspective programme, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer said prices would be more contained now the company is under government ownership:

Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
