Changes to tackle potential disruption
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is bringing in measures to minimise disruption during the winter months.
Instead of mooring in the River Mersey at the end of her season, the fast craft Manannan will remain in Douglas on stand-by.
Bad weather and a high number of passengers in the festive period caused problems for many people last year.
The Manannan will now stay in Douglas harbour before sailing over to Merseyside for maintenance checks in early 2016.
