Ted Lasso star has connection to Port Erin
The presenting line-up for this year's Eurovision Song Contest has been announced.
It includes half-Manx actress Hannah Waddingham.
The Emmy-award winning star is the daughter of opera singer Melodie Waddingham (née Kelly) from Port Erin.
Melodie and husband Harry Waddingham have long been active members of the London Manx Society.
Hannah will be hosting the two semi-finals on 9 and 11 May alongside Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, before the trio is joined by Graham Norton for the grand final in Liverpool on Saturday 13 May.
The UK is hosting on behalf of 2022 winner Ukraine, which cannot stage the event due to Russia's ongoing invasion.
The Ted Lasso star says it's "a great privilege" to be involved.
She has spoken in the past of her pride in being half-Manx:
Very proud to be half Manx. Go and visit the beautiful island. Go on, get away from it all. ☺️ https://t.co/owKV7JCb2S
