Three nominees up for prizes at BBC Folk Awards in Belfast
Three Manx music acts will learn how they've got on in the BBC's Folk Awards on Belfast Waterfront this evening (Wed 4th).
Trad bands Ímar and Alawplus harpist Mera Royle, are the three nominees that will be the focus of the Island's attentions.
Ímar have been shortlisted for the 'Horizon' award, Mera Royle is up for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award and Alaw's track 'Lisa Lân' is a nominee for best traditional track of the year.
