Island's oldest resident celebrates birthday
The woman believed to be the oldest resident of the Island is now 106 years old!
A party was thrown today (18 Sept) for Elvira Clark at the Ellan Vannin Residential Home in Douglas, where she lives.
Elvie was joined by droves of well-wishers, including friends and special guests including the Mayor of Douglas, Debbie Pitts.
The birthday girl reminisced about her childhood and gave a clue living a long and healthy life:
