Musculoskeletal outpatient appointments now available in north and south
Manx Care’s musculoskeletal outpatients physiotherapy service has expanded to two community sites.
The service will now be available at Thie Rosien, in Port Erin, and at the Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
The health body says the aim of the outpatient physiotherapy service is to 'provide care and treatment to all patients who have a MSK condition'.
It's accessed by referral from GP services or allied health professionals.
Once the MSK physiotherapy service has received the referral, and the patient is at the top of the waiting list, they will be invited by letter to make an appointment, at which time they will be able to choose the location that best suits them.
The service operates between 8am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
