Manx Care is forecasting an £8.1million overspend this financial year.
The healthcare provider has published its latest management accounts, which cover the first two months of the 2026-27 period.
Manx Care recorded a £751,000 deficit up to the end of May, with a forecast total overspend of £8.1million.
An underdelivery in its cost improvement programme, unfunded homelessness costs and spending on bank and agency workers are among the factors impacting the board's finances.
The health service further warns of an additional £11million of risks to consider, such as pay awards not yet being agreed and the uncertainty over the cost of emergency care.
