Manx Care has hit out after it alleges a number of abusive phone calls have been made to its staff by patients and service users.
The health body says it understands it can be a difficult time of the year but labelled the 'intimidating' behaviour as 'unacceptable'.
It goes on to note it's a minority of people making 'rude' comments, and thanks those who are 'kind and respectful'.
