Conference today to look at improving mental health services
Mental health will be under the spotlight today (14 December) as Manx Care holds a conference in an attempt to learn from those who use its services.
The event looks at how the 'Thrive Framework' can be implemented to best suit residents who access mental health services.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service has seen an 83 per cent increase over the past two years - something the health service says needs a 'multi-agency' approach to tackling.
The conference gets underway at the Villa Gaiety from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
