Improvement director outlines plans to move to more community-focussed model of care
Manx Care needs to look at what workforce it needs, and no longer needs, going forward as it prepares to switch for a more community focussed model of care.
That's from one of the healthcare provider's improvement director's who's given an update on work on the mandate - the document that sets out what services Manx Care is required to provide.
It's the first time the organisation has worked on its own mandate which has previously been provided by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The mandate and operational plan have now been completed and will go to Tynwald later this month.
