Follows decision by Royal College of Nursing to accept offer
Manx Care says it's ‘pleased’ that pay negotiations with the Royal College of Nursing have been successful.
Yesterday (28 November) the union accepted the most recent pay offer made by the healthcare provider.
It consists of a consolidated increase of £1,500, to each pay point, with effect from 1 April 2022 which is in addition to a six per cent increase already implemented.
Healthcare staff took strike action, as part of the ongoing row over pay, terms and conditions, earlier this year.

In a statement, released to Manx Radio, Manx Care said: ‘We are pleased that negotiations have been successful and that members of the Royal College of Nursing have accepted the most recent pay offer.
‘We acknowledge that this has been an unsettled time for many of our colleagues and appreciate the open dialogue that has taken place with staff-side representatives throughout.’
