The healthcare provider previously cited difficulties heating the building and a lack of staff facilities among the issues with the site.
The board says the new base will accommodate the vaccine team, storage and facilitate specialist clinics, and once it's open there will be an increase focus on delivering pop-up clinics using community facilities.
