Visitors allowed at emergency departments
Manx Care has announced it has updated its visiting policies in three areas.
The policy change, which came into force with immediate effect, now allows for one visitor per patient into the Emergency Department at Noble’s Hospital and the Minor Injuries Unit at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital.
Patients at the Eric and Marion Scott Oncology Unit can also receive one visitor.
Visiting policies in other departments and wards remain unchanged and the health body asks that a maximum of two people attend visits at the same time.
Manx Care is asking people not to visit someone if they themselves feel unwell or have tested positive for Covid in the last 10 days.
