Healthcare provider says social media posts don't allow for proper investigation and response
Manx Care is urging those who have concerns or issues with its services to contact it directly instead of taking to social media.
The healthcare provider says it cannot normally take action on comments made on social media as these do not allow for proper investigation and response.
Instead, the board is inviting those who encounter issues to contact the Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service on 642642 or by emailing MCALS@gov.im, while inpatients are asked to speak to the nurse in charge.
Formal complaints can be made through the Care Quality and Safety Team on 650500 or manxcarecomplaints@gov.im.
