Follows decision by Grove Mount Dental Practice to hand back NHS contract
Manx Care says it's working to procure new NHS dental services for patients in the north of the Island.
Grove Mount Dental Practice in Ramsey stopped providing NHS services on 31 March, having handed its contract back to Manx Care earlier in the year.
The health body says, until a new provider is found, any of Grove Mount's patients who need emergency dental care should contact the Community Dental Service on 642785 from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday or 8:30am – 4pm on Fridays.
If you have a dental emergency over the weekend or bank holiday you can access the Emergency Dental Clinic between the hours of 9am - 11am.
The rota to advise which practice is covering the emergency clinic can be found HERE.
Meanwhile, anyone concerned about the news is told to contact the Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service via email at mcals@gov.im or via phone on 642642.
Manx Care says: 'Although the team will not be able to add anything further to the position outlined above, they will be able to capture any queries or concerns people may have which may arise from this news'.
