People advised to collect repeat prescriptions in plenty of time
Manx Care says it's working with Lloyds to help ease the pharmacy's current staffing issues.
It's hoped the problems, which are predominantly the result of staff illness, will be relatively short-term.
In the meantime Manx Care has offered additional Pharmacy staffing resources where possible, to enable branches to operate.
The staffing problems have led to some pharmacy closures and long queues at others. Manx Care says it recognises the needs of the population and the vital role that pharmacies play across the Island.
Updates on social media are being provided informing people which pharmacies are open, should they require an alternative.
In the meantime the advice is to collect repeat prescriptions in plenty of time, and not wait until a current one is about to run out. To make sure harder to reach members of the community, and those without access to social media, are kept informed of the situation Manx Care is appealing to friends, relatives or people living in their locality to make them aware of the problems.
