Princess Anne visits Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre
A Manx charity, that offers carriage driving for disabled people, says a royal visit this week has been a real boost.
The Princess Royal visited Ballavartyn Equestrian Centre on Tynwald Day to meet representatives from Manx Carriage Driving 4 the Disabled.
It was one of a number of engagements Princess Ann undertook – also visiting Peel for an event with the RNLI.
Regional organiser Liz Lilley says they only found out she was coming 10 days before:
